Orbis Clinical takes a unique and proven approach to recruiting that delivers quality candidates and ensures their success for our clients. Our process includes four key steps: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Sourcing
Sourcing is the first and most crucial step in our process. We use a variety of methods to find the best candidates, including online sourcing through platforms like LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and utilizing our current database. As we identify candidates, we cross-reference their LinkedIn profiles to verify employment, if available. Our team is extensive during the search process, exercising several platforms and methods to provide a more comprehensive range of qualified candidates.
Screening
Once we have a pool of candidates, we screen them to ensure they meet our client’s specific requirements for the position. We contact the candidate via phone or email to obtain their updated CV. Next, we set up an initial prescreen to determine the candidate’s areas of expertise, compensation requirements, therapeutic focus, location preference, etc. We work hard to determine if the candidate would make a good match for the role and client. Aside from getting to know the general qualifications and technical skills, we also screen candidates for soft skills. This helps us decide whether the candidate would be a good fit for the role based on the client’s needs.
After the initial prescreen, we obtain valid references from the candidate. We prefer if the references have LinkedIn profiles that overlap with the candidate’s work history to ensure the candidate has worked at said company. When speaking to the provided reference, we also validate the work performed matches what is listed on their resume.
Interview
Pre-Interview Prep
We prep our candidates for any interviews by including important details like who will be conducting the interview, the video link and interview instructions, and other information we believe will be helpful for the interview. We take the step of setting up a test-run video call to ensure the candidate’s computer, camera, and audio are working properly.
Post-Interview Debrief
After the interview, we hold an interview debrief to obtain feedback and get the candidate’s thoughts on how it went and if they feel the role/company aligns with their goals. We gain permission to accept on their behalf if they receive an offer.
Upon receiving an offer, we call the candidate to deliver the news.
Onboarding
Once a candidate is selected, we work closely with them to ensure they are fully prepared for the job, helping them transition into their new role and continuing to provide support and resources to be successful in their new positions.
This includes being involved in first-day details, going over orientation, and ensuring they can log into the computer, among many other details. Following their first day, we stay in close contact with the candidate to ensure things are going smoothly and get updates on their work.
