Orbis Clinical is seeking a Technician I/II, Central services located in Athens, GA for 6 months.
Job Title: Technician I/II, Central services
Location: Athens, GA
Contract: 6 months
Schedule: M – F
Duties:
- To perform any process duties associated with indirectly supporting the production of all client vaccines. Will work within tank and central services department as a team member to ensure success in the activities associated with the safe and sterile preparation of equipment that supports vaccine manufacturing.
- Support the vaccine production schedules by following a Tank and Central Services scheduling board. Perform steam in place equipment(SIP) and clean in place of mobile process equipment (CIP). Prepare and sterilize process equipment by autoclaving. Perform decontamination of garments, equipment & roller bottles by autoclaving
- Ensure compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes. Assist with training and coaching of current and new employees on required skills
- Review in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintenance of technical data and support documentation
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalation of production flow disturbances
- Demonstrate a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives
- Assessment of individual performance in regards to the continuous improvement (AAI)
- Participate and provide support to site projects and initiatives (including deviation and change control management)
Skills:
- Working knowledge of cGMP and USDA requirements for Vaccine Manufacturing
- Results oriented and ability to meet firm deadlines while working in a complex and variable environment
- Basic math skills, equipment/process trouble shooting skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred laboratory experience and manufacturing experience.
Compensation Details:
- Orbis Clinical is an equal opportunity employer that provides a reasonable range of compensation for our positions. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location.
- The Pay Range for this position depends on experience but usually around $18.00 – $20.68 per hour, can vary depending on employment status.
