Orbis Clinical is seeking a Research and Development Associate I located in Cambridge, MA for 12 months.
Job Title: Research and Development Associate I
Location: Cambridge, MA
Contract: 12 months
Direct responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Supporting tissue enhanced delivery platform development and portfolio programs
- Processing animal tissues for protein analysis and nucleic acid extraction
- Performing MSD and PCR-based methods for bioanalytical analyses
- Performing cell-based function assays to characterize biotherapeutics
- Establishing SOPs and adapt new protocols from literature
- Maintaining electronic laboratory notebook
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry/post-bachelor’s research
- Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques (qPCR/ddPCR, Western blot, ELISA, etc.)
- Ability to independently execute experiments and analyze data
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to productively collaborate in cross-functional and matrixed teams
Preferred:
- Previous experience with animal tissue processing
- Previous experience with ELISA or MSD assays
- Previous experience with mammalian cell culture and cell-based assays
Education:
- BS biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or similar
Compensation Details:

- The Pay Range for this position is $41.53 per hour, can vary depending on employment status.
