Orbis Clinical is seeking a remote-based Manager, Clinical Vendor Alliance Management for 12 months.

Duties:
The Manager, Clinical Vendor Alliance Management is a member of the Clinical Business Operations team within Development Operations and provides support across clinical programs/trials. The primary responsibility of this role is to establish and maintain effective vendor/service provider relationships through alliance management, governance, and oversight of key vendors contracted for activities in support of clinical trials.
Representative responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Participate in the selection, management, and oversight of clinical vendors.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key vendors and partners, ensuring alignment of objectives, expectations, and deliverables.
- Support negotiation and management of contracts, service level agreements, and pricing with vendors and partners, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor and partner performance, quality, and risk, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Serve as the key liaison between internal teams (e.g., Clinical Trial Operations, Procurement, Data Management, Clinical Development, Quality Assurance) and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of services and alignment on study objectives and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices, synergies, and opportunities for innovation and value creation.
- Manage and resolve issues and escalations related to vendor and partner services, ensuring timely and effective communication and resolution.
- Facilitate and evaluate reports, dashboards, surveys, and feedback on vendor performance, and provide insights and analysis for decision making.
- Plan and assist with facilitation of Governance meetings with vendors (Joint Operating Committees, Executive Steering Committees).
- Support and lead improvement initiatives for vendor management and oversight.
Skills:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in clinical trials with a sponsor or CRO company across several therapeutic areas.
- At least 3 years’ experience in CRO/vendor selection and oversight is required.
- Strong knowledge of clinical research processes, including working knowledge of all functional areas of clinical trials is required.
- Experience in clinical trial conduct in multiple phases of development across therapeutic areas is preferred.
- Must have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as well as conflict management, time management and organizational skills.
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
- The ability to work independently with a high degree of accountability as well as work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

Education:
- Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Compensation Details:
- Orbis Clinical is an equal opportunity employer that provides a reasonable range of compensation for our positions. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location.
- The Pay Range for this position is $88.50 per hour, can vary depending on employment status.
