Job Title: Contract Senior Facilities Tech

Location: Bedford, MA. Travel to additional MA sites as needed.

Contract: 6 months, potential to extend

Job Description Summary:

• Minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgement.
• Intermediate problem-solving responsibilities with guidance and assistance as needed to learn.
• Executes work independently or as part of a team.
• Trains lower-level personnel.
• Works on problems of diverse scope without established procedures.
• Performs advanced tasks that are moderately difficult and require judgement.
• Understands the implications of work and prioritizes accordingly.
• Able to troubleshoot advanced systems with significant impact to the business.
• Able to manage high impact situations that requirement judgement and leading contractors to resolve.

Primary Responsibilities Include: 

• Under minimal supervision executes routine and non-routine tasks that are within functional area of responsibility
• Mentors and guides more junior technicians.
• Learns from others and can independently learn, troubleshoot basic and moderately advanced systems.
• Completes work requests, preventative maintenance tasks within CMMS and can write own preventative maintenance schedules or work requests.
• Works cross functionally with other departments and empowered to understand scope of decisions within their control.
• Manages outside vendors and their work within building.
• Manages and maintains equipment files in accordance with SOPs and schedules.

Compensation Details:

• The Pay Range for this position is $48.38 – $56.55 per hour, can vary depending on employment status.
