Orbis Clinical is seeking a remote-based Business Applications Developer (Senior ServiceNow Developer, Enterprise Workflow & Integrations) for an initial 2-year contract.

Disclaimer: this is a min of 2-yr need however, client typically administratively handles extensions in 6-month increments, subject to performance/funding
Location: Bridgewater, NJ or REMOTE based in the US
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer, Enterprise Workflow & Integrations to design, build, configure, and support scalable enterprise workflows and integrations across Procurement, Finance, HR, Employee Center, and other enterprise service domains.
This role combines deep ServiceNow platform expertise with integration, automation, and AI capabilities to modernize employee and business processes while enabling secure, scalable, and supportable enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience developing workflow-centric solutions that span ServiceNow, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Workday, and other enterprise applications while leveraging AI-powered capabilities such as Now Assist, AI Search, Virtual Agent, Moveworks, and IBM watsonx.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Workflow Development
- Design, configure, and support enterprise workflows across Procurement, Finance, HR, Employee Center, HRSD, Service Catalog, Employee Portal, and case/request management.
- Develop and maintain Catalog Items, Record Producers, Flows, Approvals, Notifications, Forms, Portal Components, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and ACLs.
- Configure solutions using a platform-first and configuration-first approach, minimizing unnecessary customization and technical debt.
- Build scalable request and case management solutions that improve employee and business experiences.
Integrations & Enterprise Automation
- Design and implement secure, scalable integrations between ServiceNow, Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Workday, and other enterprise platforms using IntegrationHub, Integration Spokes, REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Develop and support bidirectional integrations involving:
- Suppliers and Vendor Data
- Employees and Worker Information
- General Ledger Accounts
- Approval Hierarchies
- Procurement and Finance Transactions
- Ensure accurate data mapping, transformation, synchronization, monitoring, reconciliation, and exception handling across systems.
- Extend and customize IntegrationHub Spokes while maintaining supportable and reusable integration patterns.
- Familiar with ServiceNow tables/columns and how to extend them.
AI, Search & Intelligent Service Delivery
- Leverage ServiceNow AI capabilities including:
- Now Assist
- AI Search
- Virtual Agent
- Predictive Intelligence
- Generative AI Features
- Integrate adjacent AI and conversational platforms such as:
- Moveworks
- IBM watsonx
- Enterprise AI orchestration services
- Develop AI-enabled workflows that support enterprise AI orchestration patterns that span multiple enterprise platforms and services.
Platform Development & Engineering
- Develop scalable solutions using:
- JavaScript
- Glide APIs
- Scripted REST APIs Flow Designer
- IntegrationHub
- Business Rules
- Client Scripts
- UI Policies
- Data Transformations
- Design, build, configure, extend, test, deploy, and support ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, architecture discussions, and solution planning.
Release Management & Production Support
- Support application lifecycle management including code promotion and source control.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, integration failures, and platform defects.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive improvements.
Collaboration & Vendor Management
- Partner with business stakeholders across Procurement, Finance, HR, and Shared Services.
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and development teams.
- Coordinate with external partners and vendors including IBM, Oracle, Workday, and AMS providers.
- Create and maintain:
- Technical Design Documents
- Runbooks
- Support Procedures
- Knowledge Articles
- Operational Documentation

- Driving AI-enabled service delivery and workflow orchestration across ServiceNow and connected platforms.
- Translating complex technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
- Thriving in a collaborative cross-functional environment that includes business stakeholders, enterprise architecture teams, and strategic technology partners.
Qualifications
Required
- 6+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- 5+ years of enterprise integration experience using IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services, MID Servers, and Integration Spokes.
- 4+ years of strong experience developing enterprise workflows, service catalog solutions, portals, and case/request management applications.
- 4+ years of strong understanding of Procurement, Source-to-Pay (S2P), Finance, HR, and Employee Service processes.
- 3+ years of experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and/or Workday integrations.
- 4+ year of Proficiency with:
- JavaScript
- ServiceNow Development Frameworks
- JSON/XML Processing
- API Security (OAuth2, Certificates, API Keys)
- AI & Automation Experience
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI capabilities including:
- Predictive Intelligence
- AI Search
- Generative AI Features
- Now Assist
- Experience with conversational AI, workflow orchestration, and intelligent service delivery.
- Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise workflow automation is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to Moveworks, IBM watsonx, or comparable enterprise AI platforms is highly desirable.
Preferred
- Bachelors or Masters in IT, Business Administration, Computer Science or any Technical Field
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS):
- Experience with Employee Center and HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Experience supporting enterprise workflow platforms spanning Procurement, Finance, and HR
- Experience with Enterprise Service Management and workflow transformation initiatives
Compensation Details:
- Orbis Clinical is an equal opportunity employer that provides a reasonable range of compensation for our positions. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location.
- The Pay Range for this position depends on experience but usually around $70- $98.75 per hour, can vary depending on employment status.
