Job Title: Enterprise IT Project Manager – Cybersecurity Initiatives ( IT Program Management )
Location: Bridgewater, NJ (min 1x a week)

The hiring team clarified that this role is focused on enterprise IT project management within a cybersecurity-focused environment rather than hands-on cybersecurity engineering. This position will support multiple IT security and infrastructure-related initiatives and is ideal for candidates with strong PMO/governance experience who are comfortable partnering with IT and cybersecurity stakeholders.
Successful candidates will likely have experience supporting initiatives related to:
• Cybersecurity and infrastructure projects
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Okta or enterprise identity management implementations
• Enterprise systems implementations/upgrades
• IT governance and cross-functional project delivery
The team is seeking a strong enterprise IT Project Manager who can:
• Build and manage project plans and charters
• Lead governance and steering committee meetings
• Drive executive status reporting and stakeholder communication
• Coordinate cross-functional IT/security initiatives
• Communicate effectively with technical and business teams alike
*Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with enterprise IT PM experience in regulated or highly structured environments are encouraged to apply.
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient IT Project Manager to lead a suite of high-priority cybersecurity and business resilience initiatives. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of critical projects, with potential in scope project such as Business Continuity Crisis Management, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, Quantum Readiness Assessments, and Zero Trust Architecture.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical cybersecurity requirements and structured project governance, ensuring all deliverables are met through rigorous planning, stakeholder management, and RFP or project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain essential project artifacts, including Project Charters, RFP related documents, detailed project plans, and RAID logs (Risks, Actions, Issues, and Decisions).
- Lead the Request for Proposal (RFP) process when appropriate including requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, and selection scoring.
- Drive project progress to ensure milestones are met across the Q3 and Q4 roadmaps. Facilitate regular status meetings and provide transparent reporting to executive leadership.
- Act as the primary liaison between IT Security, Legal, Procurement, and external vendors to ensure seamless integration of new security protocols or policy development.
- Act as a bridge between technical security, stakeholders and business leaders, communicating company's readiness and business impact of quantum risks in a clear, non-technical manner.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Act as the primary point of contact for the project throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide status reports, manage team meetings, governance meetings and identify and escalate risks and issues
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, risk assessments, and other core project documentation.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Experience with organizational change management in a cybersecurity context.
Skills:
- Strong foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles (e.g., Identity and Access Management, Encryption, Network Security, and NIST standards).
- Proven experience managing complex cybersecurity IT projects.
- Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Orchestra, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar) and collaborative platforms like SharePoint.
- Proficiency with Project Management methodologies and GxP compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the RFP process from initial draft through to vendor selection, contract initiation and execution planning.
- Exceptional ability to translate complex technical security concepts into clear business language for non-technical stakeholders.

- Bachelor's or Master's
