Orbis Clinical is seeking a Research Associate located in Lebanon, NH for 24 months.

This is an entry-level, hands-on Immunology Research Associate role supporting day-to-day lab work within the Immunology group.
The primary requirement for this position is hands-on mammalian cell culture and cell handling experience.
The strongest candidates will have a BS or MS in Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field, along with 0 to 2 years of relevant hands-on lab experience. Immunology coursework, academic research, lab projects, or related project experience are highly valued. Flow cytometry experience is also strongly preferred, as it provides a helpful foundation for this team’s immunology-focused workflows.
Candidates do not need to have all advanced/preferred skills listed below to be considered. This role is intended for an early-career scientist who is comfortable with hands-on bench work, accurate documentation, and learning in a collaborative lab environment.

Job Summary:
- Support the implementation of in vitro and in vivo immunological studies towards lead candidate selection.
- Perform leukopak handling procedures including cell isolation, washing, counting, viability assessment, and cryopreservation.
- Evaluate immune cell responses towards biotherapeutics using a variety of immunoassay techniques.
- Execute immunological experiments to test hypotheses and support conclusions with analyzed data.
- Summarize experimental outcomes and prepare presentations in PowerPoint.
- Routinely operate high-throughput lab robotics.
- Support functional lab activities such as monitoring and ordering reagents/consumables and maintaining an organized lab environment.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records.
Skills
- Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in biology or related field with 0- 2 years of experience. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
- Experience with in vitro cell culture is a must. Experience with culture of primary immune cells is strongly preferred.
- Experience with leukopack processing is strongly preferred.
- Experience with routine immunological methods including, for example, flow cytometry, ELIspot/Fluorospot, ELISA and immunoprecipitation is strongly preferred.
- Experience with antigen specific expansion of T cells, culture of dendritic cells, epitope mapping, and immunopeptidomics is desirable but not required.
- In vivo murine model experience is preferred but not required.
- Experience in Python or other relevant programming languages is preferred but not required.
- Experience with high-throughput lab automation is preferred but not required.
Education
- Bachelor or Master degree in Immunology, Biology, or a related field with 0-2 years of experience.
Compensation Details:

- The Pay Range for this position is $46.40 per hour, can vary depending on employment status.
