Corporate/G&A Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing Consultant (IT Infrastructure) - Remote New Jersey
Orbis Clinical is seeking a remote-based Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing Consultant for 6 months.
Job Title: Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing Consultant
Location: Remote
Contract: 6 months
Position Summary / Overview of Role
- Seeking a Senior Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules. This is not a support or order-taking role. We are looking for a seasoned leader who can walk into a room with business stakeholders, build trust quickly, translate ambiguous and complex business challenges into practical Oracle solutions, and drive decisions — not just document requirements.
- The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of Oracle Applications experience, with a strong concentration in Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and Manufacturing implementations. They are equally comfortable leading executive-level design reviews and rolling up their sleeves to configure and validate solutions. They proactively surface risks, issues, and gaps — always with proposed solutions in hand — and they hold vendors and offshore resources accountable to delivery standards without requiring constant oversight.
- This role will serve as a leading IT representative for company’s core supply chain and manufacturing business processes, requiring someone who can build lasting credibility with the business and represent IT as a strategic partner.
Strategic Leadership & Business Engagement
- Lead complex business discussions independently — facilitate design sessions, solution workshops, and executive reviews without requiring daily direction or escalation support.
- Build trust quickly with business stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, and Operations; serve as the face of IT for these domains.
- Translate vague, ambiguous, and complex business requirements into actionable Oracle Fusion solution designs and concrete next steps.
- Drive decisions — bring forward recommendations, facilitate alignment, and move initiatives forward rather than waiting for direction.
- Proactively identify and surface risks, issues, and gaps with proposed mitigation strategies before they become problems.
- Represent IT in cross-functional forums, steering committees, and program-level reviews with executive presence and credibility.
Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM & Manufacturing Delivery
- Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM and Manufacturing implementations — from AS-IS process assessment through TO-BE design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
- Serve as Functional Lead across core SCM and Manufacturing modules, owning solution integrity across the full delivery lifecycle.
- Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) and design validation sessions with business stakeholders.
- Drive Gap Analysis, configuration decisions, and solution trade-off discussions with a bias toward practical, scalable outcomes.
- Oversee Data Conversion strategy and execution for SCM and Manufacturing domains.
- Lead QA/UAT Testing cycles — develop test strategies, manage execution, and drive defect resolution to closure.
- Develop and deliver targeted end-user training programs that drive adoption and knowledge retention.
