Job Description:
- Problem solver who shapes and carries out contract execution and archival strategies on a high volume and wide array of agreements by displaying inquisitiveness, the ability to spot issues, get to the heart of a matter and articulate plans to address through collaboration, relationship building and direct communication.
- Proactively identify unique business scenarios found throughout all aspects of the contract lifecycle, formulating executive-level recommendations and implementing process improvements to drive speed and simplicity by gaining credibility, influencing and partnering across a diverse array of cross-functional teams.
- Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Orders, License and Subscription Agreements, etc.
- Craft innovative approaches for handling complex terms in a wide range of transactions by balancing the opportunities and risks created for various functional teams who look for solid analysis, sound judgment and creative and practical contractual guidance.
- Self-starter, ability to communicate effectively in order to establish relationships with internal and external customers. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with key customers both internal and external in order to deliver customer-centric contracting solutions.
- Coordinate the full contract lifecycle among various functional teams with great follow-through, tactical and strategic advice, the ability to manage expectations and employ sound judgment and business sense to escalate to management.
- Consistently display a strong desire and ability to develop and implement tools and automation in contracting operations in order to increase the speed and simplicity of contracting processes.
- Influence contract policies and procedures to ensure they scale with changing business requirements while meeting evolving requirements.
- Driven to develop new skills and learn new concepts which form the basis for leading edge innovative negotiation strategies and professional development.
- Proficient in handling both external and internal inquiries with a high level of professionalism and efficiency.
- Possess strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to provide ad-hoc metric reporting to effectively track and assess contract performance.
- Proficient in managing high-value contracts through meticulous attention to detail and effective utilization of standard operating procedures and legal regulations.
- Assumes the responsibility of being the primary liaison for internal stakeholders, ensuring proactive communication of business expectations, news, goals, and values.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills by providing secondary training and mentoring to newly hired contract managers, ensuring they are familiar with department procedures and expectations through designated 1:1s and training documents.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or substitute 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 5 years of contracts or project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Well-versed in MS Office software programs
- Able to effectively interface with high level management
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong awareness of what type of communication is appropriate for what audience
- Comfortable operating in both structured and unstructured environments
- Attention to detail and a high level of organization
- Ability to work in multiple systems (ie. Smartsheet, Oracle, DocuSign, iCertis)
- Understand and articulate the business case behind decisions
Compensation Details:
- Orbis Clinical is an equal opportunity employer that provides a reasonable range of compensation for our positions. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience and specific office location.
- The Pay Range for this position is $51.99 per hour, can vary depending on employment status.
